Indiana Land Trust Advancement Program
The Land Trust Alliance’s advancement program work in Indiana began in 2008 and is currently in its third three-year cycle.
The Indiana Land Trust Advancement Program provides expertise and resources to develop Indiana’s land trusts into a high-performing, sustainable and cohesive conservation community. By providing training, mentoring, technical support and accreditation preparation services to Indiana land trusts and support to the Indiana Land Protection Alliance, our goals are to:
- Strengthen land trust capacity in Indiana, accelerating the pace of land conservation and ensuring its permanence.
- Foster collaboration among land trusts and with community partners to strengthen the role of land trusts as regional leaders in conservation across Indiana.
- Promote awareness of land trusts and land conservation among private landowners, influential community leaders, policy makers and elected officials, and local communities.
Thank You
We deeply appreciate the financial investment from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust and the work of the Indiana Land Protection Alliance, both of which have greatly contributed to the success of this program.
