This work will require hiking to designated viewpoints and collecting data using the National Park Service Enjoy the View protocol. Fieldwork trips may require multi-day backpacking and camping.
The position requires three to five years of experience in land planning, and/or real property background. The ideal candidate will have experience with agricultural policy issues, conservation easements and fee acquisitions and build public/private partnerships to leverage conservation dollars. Any public policy experience a plus.
The positions will primarily include field work with some remote work from home or the NCLC office as COVID protocols may still be in effect. Field work will take place at NCLC preserves and at preserves owned and managed by other area land trusts.
