  • visit our virtual debrief room to get answers to your questions, share information about your meetings and network with your peers;
  • hear live and pre-recorded remarks from key Capitol Hill figures; and

Agency Days
New for Advocacy Days 2021! We’ve always convened meetings with key agency staff as part of Advocacy Days, but this year we are trying to make it easier for people to participate by avoiding conflicts with elected official meetings. So please join us for meetings with key agency officials at USDA, the Fish & Wildlife Service and the U.S. Forest Service. To be respectful of our federal partners, we are asking attendees to register well in advance so we can let them know who is participating. We urge you to register ASAP by alerting the Alliance if you are interested in participating in this exciting and important additional day of advocacy.

What is Advocacy Days?

The mission of our annual Advocacy Days is to provide land trust leaders with virtual advocacy training and to facilitate their relationships with key legislators in order to help build the political influence of the land trust community. The Land Trust Alliance advises Congress on important land trust issues in a way that no one land trust could do by itself — but to truly motivate elected officials, we need them to hear your stories about conserving our land and waters. Your participation is important and truly appreciated.

Now more than ever that is what is needed as members of Congress must receive a clear message that our community is a powerful coalition and land conservation is an important national and local issue.
