Realty Specialist - Lands Program Manager, USDA Forest Service
The eastern region of the US Forest Service has four Lands Program Manager positions (GS-1170-11/12) open - one each on the Chequamegon-Nicolet (Wisconsin), Hiawatha (Michigan), Hoosier (Indiana), and Shawnee (Illinois) National Forests. These are supervisory positions with responsibility for managing all aspects of the Lands program on the Forest, including land acquisition, title claims, rights-of-way, special use authorizations, and minerals. It's a position for a person with knowledge and experience in the complexities of government (or similar) real estate transactions and the skills to plan, oversee, and implement complex programs of work with wide ranging projects.
