Partnerships Coordinator, Northern Virginia Conservation Trust
The Partnerships Coordinator sets the tone for the entire organization and is intimately involved with all aspects of NVCT’s operations and community outreach. The candidate is responsible for providing a full range of administrative support to NVCT’s Board of Directors and staff, working most frequently with the Executive Director, Director of Philanthropy, and Communications Coordinator in the areas of governance, office finance, fund development, communications, and event planning.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: processing financial donations and transactions, managing our member database, planning outreach and fundraising events, arranging and preparing materials for meetings, answering phones, preparing correspondence for mailings, ordering office supplies and selected office equipment, and other duties as assigned.
The job includes significant interaction with NVCT’s Board of Directors, landowners, vendors and donors. The Partnerships Coordinator will be critical to achieving NVCT’s goal of outreaching to diverse communities in our service area, upkeeping political relationships and helping staff our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) committee. The position is a great opportunity to gain experience in the fields of environmental protection, non-profit financial management, and organizational outreach/event planning, all while having opportunities to be outside in nature.
