Membership and Events Manager, Palmer Land Conservancy

Palmer Land Conservancy seeks a Membership and Events Manager to join our growing philanthropy and communications team. Reporting to Palmer’s Communications and Fundraising Director, this position is responsible for managing Palmer’s donor and membership program as well as Palmer’s community engagement and events programming. With over 137,000 acres under permanent conservation, Palmer Land Conservancy is one of the leading nonprofit land conservation organizations in Colorado and is one of the twenty largest local land trusts in the nation leading innovative and interesting conservation projects throughout the region. This is an exciting and unique time and position to mobilize people around an important cause central to our health and quality of life in Colorado. The primary focus of the position is twofold: 1) Overseeing Palmer’s individual and business membership program by managing relationships with prospective and existing donors. Working within Palmer’s membership framework and systems, this position is critical to stewarding and connecting people directly with the Palmer brand. 2) Managing Palmer’s community engagement programming through a variety of events and community outreach efforts and tactics, this position plays a key role with building broad and deep support for Palmer and land conservation in southern Colorado.
