Land Steward, San Juan Preservation Trust

Reporting to the Director of Stewardship, the Land Steward is primarily responsible for implementing the strategic goals of our stewardship program. This position is responsible for monitoring SJPT conservation easements and stewarding preserves, as assigned.

The Land Steward prepares annual monitoring reports drafts and updates baseline documentation for conservation easements and maintains personal contact with landowners. This individual will be a point-person for SJPT’s conservation easement landowner relations effort, with responsibilities including (but not limited to) initial and follow-up landowner education and general efforts to assure positive and productive landowner relationships.
