Land Management Director, South Kingstown Land Trust

The South Kingstown Land Trust seeks a full-time Land Management Director to oversee and implement the monitoring, care and active stewardship of the land and structures it protects and operates.

This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in tandem with the executive director, and cooperatively with SKLT staff members, volunteers, board members and committees. Responsibilities will include a broad variety of stewardship related activities, plus interacting with private landowners, lessee farmers, permitted hunters, non-profit and governmental grant partners and regulatory agencies.

The applicant must have strong organizational and communication skills, and have experience in computerized mapping, and natural resource management issues and practices.
