Land Conservation Specialist, Finger Lakes Land Trust, INC

Seeking an individual to advance land conservation efforts for a land trust serving the 12-county Finger Lakes region of New York. Reporting to the Director of Conservation, responsibilities include: engaging and educating landowners, conducting outreach with conservation partners, and managing conservation easement and other acquisition projects. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree or higher in ecology, natural resources, land use planning, or related field, and/or multiple years of relevant employment or volunteer experience; strong communication and interpersonal skills; the capacity to manage complex projects; and the ability to work with diverse partners and constituents. Salary of $43,000 to $47,000, commensurate with experience and includes competitive benefits.
