Executive Director, York Land Trust

York Land Trust seeks a visionary, strategic, collaborative, and energetic leader to serve as our Executive Director. The candidate will have a passion for land conservation and proven success in fundraising, management, organizational development, and communications.

Core Responsibilities

• Provides strategic and operational oversight for York Land Trust’s land protection, stewardship, and outreach programs to advance our mission.
• Leads fundraising efforts with increased donor outreach, new member development, grant writing, and elevating our charitable giving options.
• Manages YLT’s finances, budgeting, and reporting, as well as oversight of its endowments and investments.
• Leads and ensures the development of our four-person professional staff and our Board of Directors.
• Serves as the primary spokesperson and advocate for the organization and assumes a leadership role in collaborating with volunteers, businesses, foundations, government officials, and other nonprofits.
• Oversees the care and use of YLT’s facilities, buildings, and ground
