Director of Conservation, Hudson Highlands Land Trust

The Hudson Highlands Land Trust seeks a self-motivated and creative Director of Conservation to lead and oversee HHLT’s land conservation program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in land conservation, with extensive negotiation and project management skills. This senior leadership position will supervise staff and engage with public and private conservation partners. The Director of Conservation will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the land conservation program, including acquisitions and stewardship. The person will supervise the Conservation Stewardship Manager, and work closely with the Director of Natural Resources and the Executive Director, to achieve the mission and strategic goals of HHLT. All work will be done in accordance with Land Trust Alliance Standards and Practices and HHLT policies.
