Digital Media & Outreach Intern, Woodie Wheaton Land Trust
The Digital Media & Outreach Intern will prepare, create and produce videos and photos for the Woodie Wheaton Land Trust (WWLT) to use in marketing materials, social media and our website. The selected intern will also have a summer long, major project to create a professional, well-produced short film of the WWLT’s history, accomplishments, the region we protect, as well as the local history of Forest City. When completed, this project will serve as a tool for the WWLT to tell its story to potential donors, foundations, current members and for marketing. Work may also include drafting outreach material (e.g. content for website, social media, and mailings), assembling mailings, generating thank you letters and general office work.
This is a unique internship position for the WWLT’s Summer Internship Program. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and refine their skills in videography, photography and production, as well as create a connection to the work of the WWLT in land preservation. Summer interns work under the supervision and training of the Office Manager.
Internships are flexible in nature and will be designed to match the Land Trust’s needs with the skills and interests of the intern.
