Chief Executive Officer, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado
Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) is the state's leading outdoor stewardship organization. Each year, VOC engages thousands of people, providing a volunteer workforce for recreation and ecosystem restoration projects in partnership with land management agencies, nonprofits and community groups. These volunteer projects take place in every corner of Colorado. Over the decades, VOC has grown beyond their boots on the ground projects within Colorado’s borders to help other organizations launch and build their own volunteer stewardship programs. Ideal candidates are driven by a love of the outdoors, believe in the power of volunteers and will elevate volunteer stewardship of Colorado’s unique environment. This individual will demonstrate CEO or equivalent leadership experience gained over a career of progressive management experience in the nonprofit, corporate and/or government sectors. This executive has experience mobilizing talent to support impact and organizational outcomes. It is expected that candidates can demonstrate success in building durable relationships with volunteers, partners, stakeholders and donors. This results-oriented leader will demonstrate success in operating a financially healthy and sustainable organization.

The salary range for this position is between $125,000 and $145,000 and will be commensurable with experience. VOC offers a comprehensive benefits package.
