Central Sands Project Manager, The Nature Conservancy
The Central Sands Project Manager establishes TNC as a major conservation partner within the Central Sands region, helping define conservation priorities and providing leadership in building strategic partnerships. The Project Manager develops and implements long-term conservation strategies, employing a full range of land acquisition, land management, and restoration tools while also securing public and private support for TNC’s conservation actions and adapting priorities when appropriate based on partner feedback and arising opportunities. They also oversee management of acquired lands for both people and nature, including leading the development and coordinating the implementation of restoration plans with land management staff as necessary to benefit regional conservation targets. Compensation for this position begins at $63,000 and is commensurate with experience.
