Assistant Attorney General, Maryland Office of the Attorney General
The Office of the Attorney General, Department of General Services, seeks applicants for a full-time Assistant Attorney General with full state benefits to commence July 1, 2022. The AAG selected for this position will serve as counsel to the Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation and will process transactions on behalf of MALPF in connection with the purchase, amendment and enforcement of agricultural land preservation easements. A transactional real estate background is desired with significant experience in title and survey review, the drafting and review of easements and other real property documentation, the closing of commercial real estate transactions and resolution of title-related issues. Knowledge of conservation easement law is desirable. In addition to transactional real estate work, the AAG will also advise the MALPF Board on various legal issues.
