Besides LOCATE, we also design, built, and support websites as well as implement and support nonprofit CRMs ( Salesforce, NeonCRM, and CiviCRM ) and provide technology assessments to help guide nonprofits to right decisions.

Although we work with a variety of nonprofits, we have particular expertise with conservation-focused organizations and cultural destination nonprofits such as land trusts, botanical gardens, and smaller museums. Last year we worked with over 50 conservation-based organizations.

Sarah is skilled at managing organizational change, developing and mentoring people and managing complex projects. She has worked in the not-for-profit, research, technology and education fields and has over twenty years of experience, most recently in the land trust community. Sarah served in several leadership roles at the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, including Director of Human Resources for five years and the Director of Stewardship for three years prior. She was instrumental in supporting the growth of the organization with attention to culture, development of staff and volunteers and monitoring benchmarks and outcomes. Sarah has extensive experience in the creation, implementation, and review of policies and procedures, and successfully led the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy through the accreditation process in 2009 and again in 2014. Today, Sarah supports land trusts as they plan and prepare for accreditation. She provides guidance and training to develop people and systems to meet the goals of the organization.

The North Country Trail Association is the non-profit partner of the National Park Service, in managing the North Country National Scenic Trail, the nation's longest National Scenic Trail stretching from New York to North Dakota. Together, NPS and NCTA administer, plan, design, construct, manage, maintain, protect and promote the trail with the support of over 1,200 volunteers, and state, federal, local and private partners and affiliates across seven states.

In 1982, a group of pheasant hunters saw the connection between upland habitat loss and declining pheasant populations. An organization dedicated to wildlife habitat conservation was needed, and Pheasants Forever was formed. Pheasants Forever’s mission work quickly garnered it a reputation as “The Habitat Organization,” a tagline the nonprofit conservation group uses proudly to this day. Pheasants Forever is dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education, and land management policies and programs. Unique among national conservation organizations, chapters of Pheasants Forever retain 100 percent decision-making control over their locally-raised funds.
