Besides LOCATE, we also design, built, and support websites as well as implement and support nonprofit CRMs ( Salesforce, NeonCRM, and CiviCRM ) and provide technology assessments to help guide nonprofits to right decisions.

Although we work with a variety of nonprofits, we have particular expertise with conservation-focused organizations and cultural destination nonprofits such as land trusts, botanical gardens, and smaller museums. Last year we worked with over 50 conservation-based organizations.

The City of Charlotte's tree ordinance allows for payment in lieu of protecting trees on site in certain commercial development situations. The money collected from the ordinance goes into a fund that is designated for the acquisition and preservation of land to ensure that our tree canopy is maintained for future generations.

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality Stewardship Program provides long-term stewardship of conservation easements and lands acquired as compensatory mitigation by the State of North Carolina. The program currently stewards approximately 21,600 across North Carolina.

The North Country Trail Association is the non-profit partner of the National Park Service, in managing the North Country National Scenic Trail, the nation's longest National Scenic Trail stretching from New York to North Dakota. Together, NPS and NCTA administer, plan, design, construct, manage, maintain, protect and promote the trail with the support of over 1,200 volunteers, and state, federal, local and private partners and affiliates across seven states.

In 1982, a group of pheasant hunters saw the connection between upland habitat loss and declining pheasant populations. An organization dedicated to wildlife habitat conservation was needed, and Pheasants Forever was formed. Pheasants Forever’s mission work quickly garnered it a reputation as “The Habitat Organization,” a tagline the nonprofit conservation group uses proudly to this day. Pheasants Forever is dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education, and land management policies and programs. Unique among national conservation organizations, chapters of Pheasants Forever retain 100 percent decision-making control over their locally-raised funds.
