The California Council of Land Trusts’ mission is to build a statewide land trust community equal to the challenge and privilege of conserving our extraordinary land and water resources for all Californians. We serve as a unified voice for more than 150 land trusts working throughout California.

The Fidelity Foundations are a group of private, non-operating foundations that fund a diverse set of programs on a national scale, with particular focus on Boston and New England. In addition, the Foundations fund nonprofit organizations that strengthen the primary communities in which Fidelity Investments employees live and work. The Foundations’ values of responsibility, integrity, compassion, and expertise guide its investments in education, arts and culture, health, conservation, and community services.

Uniting and empowering Colorado’s land trusts and partners to conserve the lands and waters that define our state. 

We are the Land Trust Alliance of British Columbia (LTABC) representing 35 land trust members across the province. Associate members (consultants, environmental groups and individuals) bring our total membership to one hundred. Since 1997 when LTABC was established, we have developed educational, research and resource programs that have helped conservation groups steward, protect and restore BC’s natural and cultural diversity. BC land trusts, with the help of generous donors and willing land owners, have now protected well over one million acres of significant land.

The Pacific Crest Trail Association is an eclectic band of trail junkies who champion the needs of the Pacific Crest Trail. From across the country and the world, our team travels throughout the mountain ranges of the American West to support the much larger Pacific Crest Trail community in protecting, preserving and promoting the trail.

The Rhode Island Land Trust Council is a coalition of the state’s land trusts — community-based organizations formed to protect our special places: the scenic open spaces, natural areas, farms, forests, historic sites, watersheds, and drinking water supplies that define the character of our communities and our state. Land trusts are protecting our heritage so that it will be a legacy for future generations.

After 19 years as a conservation professional, I decided to launch Strong Outcomes to use what I learned to help environmental agencies and organizations be more successful.

In my career, I have helped dozens of communities and organizations build capacity to conserve natural resources and authored a book on natural resource-based land use planning. I developed conservation plans, organized workshops and events, developed community engagement strategies, and implemented practical measures of success.

I have a BS in Biology and an MS in Biodiversity Conservation and Policy from the University at Albany, and a Certificate in Change Leadership from Cornell University. I am a Senior Fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program and have 13 years of nonprofit board experience.
