The California Council of Land Trusts’ mission is to build a statewide land trust community equal to the challenge and privilege of conserving our extraordinary land and water resources for all Californians. We serve as a unified voice for more than 150 land trusts working throughout California.

The Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts (or COLT) is the only association of land trusts in Oregon, where it serves as a statewide service center and the central voice of the land trust community. COLT focuses on improving and advancing land conservation in the state through increased land trust capacity and coverage, engagement of stakeholders, defending and developing new and larger sources of funding, and supportive policies. The Yamhill Soil and Water Conservation District (District) is led by a locally elected board of directors whose responsibility is to plan and oversee the delivery of services and programs that help conserve and protect water and soil resources, wildlife habitat, and other natural resources in Yamhill County. The District is a unit of local government, and implements its programs and services in partnership with volunteers, non-profits, state and federal agencies, school districts and universities, watershed councils, landowners, and many others.
