No travel? No problem
As the Land Trust Alliance weighs our response to the coronavirus crisis, one thing has remained at the forefront of all of our thinking: We must prioritize the health and wellbeing of our land trust members, our staff and their families. Therefore, we have decided to transform this year's Land Trust Alliance Advocacy Days into a virtual experience.
Since travel is no longer a requirement, participation in Advocacy Days is easier than ever before. You can now join us from the comfort of your office and still make your voice heard. And we need that now more than ever in order to send a clear message to Congress that our community is a powerful coalition and that land conservation is an important national and local issue.
By joining Advocacy Days, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Attend our online "viewing parties," designed to train, brief and motivate advocates;
- Hear live and video-taped remarks by key Capitol Hill figures; and
- Attend video or phone meetings with your members of Congress without leaving your home state.
To register, click here. By adding your voice, you can make a significant difference without even shaking a hand. Stay tuned for additional details.
This year, we're hoping that we can break records for the number of land trust members participating, so we hope you will consider joining us!
