Keep tuning into the Learning Center
The Land Trust Alliance Learning Center discussion forums have been very active in the past two months. Here are a few highlights of those discussions — as well as posts that could benefit from your ideas and experiences. Consider joining the conversation!

- Diversity, equity, inclusion and justice learning opportunities and resources are regularly shared. You can easily find engaging posts that share ideas, links to resources and examples of how land trusts are planning and engaging. Some posts that caught my eye include: "Making trails part of your DEIJ and inclusive conservation strategy: Resources, Tips, and a Webinar," "If you build it … they may not come, and they may not care. The case for programming and inclusive conservation," "Farmland access as part of a land trust's DEIJ work," "Strategic Land Conservation — Including access, experience, local connections and habitat protection," and "Inclusive conservation, taking the long view while taking action now — DEIJ."

Conservation easement drafting, interpretation and evaluation of amendments is a busy topic this time of year as some land donors seek to complete a conservation easement before the end of December. Several land trusts are looking for experience with multiple owners and restrictions.
-
Green burials were of interest to one land trust, which sought thoughts from others. Some resources were shared here.
-
How does your land trust measure success? One land trust asked for examples here.
-
Professional consultants are often sought on the discussion forums. The online Request for Proposal depot is a place where the land trust community can share RFPs and where professional affiliates can view and respond to proposals. You can submit an RFP here.
I hope you'll consider sharing your experience and expertise with the community. And — please — if you have a question, bring it to the discussion forums.
