10 reasons you need to register for Rally
Are you ready to Rock 'N' Rally this year? Before you know it, Rally 2021: The National Land Conservation Conference will be kicking off. Here are the 10 reasons why you (and your entire organization!) need to register for Rally.
- More accessible than ever: At Rally 2020, nearly 4,000 people came together virtually for inspiration, education and networking. With a virtual setting and group pricing, your organization can send all of your staff, board members and volunteers!
- Sixty-three workshops: Each session is part of a learning track that focuses on addressing climate change, caring for land and water, engaging community, leading effectively, protecting land and securing support.
- Celebrating Cleveland with virtual tours: Learn about conservation burial, collaborations to conserve land and water in the region, rebuilding Cleveland’s vacant lands and urban forests, and more.
- Interactive trivia with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame: Join us for some friendly competition and prizes!
- Inspiring keynote speakers: We are excited to announce our plenary speakers: Dr. Dorceta Taylor, Dr. Mark Anderson and Land Trust Alliance President & CEO Andrew Bowman.
- Special events: Learn more about how to be more inclusive of people with disabilities, network with LGBTQ+ attendees and allies, join a happy hour with the Conservationists of Color or participate in chair yoga led by Daybreak Yoga. Check out all of this year's special events!
- Enhance partnerships: Rally is a great time to find a new partner for your work and to start a conversation about how they can support your land trust and community. These organizations join us at Rally as sponsors, exhibitors and faculty — be sure to request a meeting with them!
- Photo booth: Even though we're not meeting in person, we'll still make memories together with the virtual photo booth!
- Access to recordings: Session recordings will also be available through March 1 so you will have access to workshops that you may have not been able to attend.
- Reconnect, recharge, reinvigorate: After a long year, Rally is the time to come together and recharge. This conference reinvigorates the passion we have for conservation that leads to a bigger impact in our community.
Hope to see you there!
