Perpetuity. Community conservation. Relevance. What all of these fundamental concepts have in common is the importance of building and sustaining strategic relationships. Some land trusts are struggling with the “why” of community engagement, but more and more land trusts are focusing on the “how.” How can our land trust build the community connections that will sustain us today, and well into the future? This webinar will look at the simple and more complex ways conservation groups can build long-lasting relationships with their community. It will define specific roles that board members, key volunteers, and staff can play in supporting these critical relationships. It will help groups start from where they are and move to a place of greater community connection, relevance and consistent support.
