With the conservation tax incentives expired and funding at risk, now is a great time to visit your federal officials. But what is involved when you visit the “Hill”? Whether attending April's Land Trust Advocacy Day or coming to Washington another time, you won't want to miss this helpful overview of what to expect when you visit Capitol Hill.  You'll hear about the things you can do before and after your visit to build constructive relationships with district staff, arrange for your representative to visit your conserved land and win good publicity for supportive lawmakers and your organization. While this session will include some logistical details specifically geared towards participants in this year's Land Trust Advocacy Day, this webinar should be a first stop for any land trust leader contemplating a trip to DC.
