Special Half-Day Workshop on Baseline Documentation and Management Plans
The Land Trust Alliance and CT Land Conservation Council are pleased to host a special, half-day workshop on Baseline Documentation Reports and Management Plans, co-presented by Renee Bouplon, Associate Director for the Agricultural Stewardship Association (Greenwich, NY) and Tim Abbott, Director of Litchfield Hills Greenprint (Cornwall Bridge, CT).

The workshop will take place on Friday, April 16th from 9:30am to 2:30 pm. The registration fee is $40.00 and registration limited to 40 people. Pre-registration is required. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
This workshop will include a highly interactive discussion on developing Baseline Documentation Reports and Fee Land Management Plans in line with Land Trust Standards & Practices and will:
- Examine the importance of Baseline documentation reports as part of a conservation easement stewardship program
- Highlight the importance of conservation values, stewardship principles and site specific goals to the creation of Baseline Documentation Reports and Management Plans
- Cover the strategies for dealing with backlogs of Baseline Documentation Reports or insufficient documentation at the time of transaction
Each land trust will receive a copy of the Land Trust Standards and Practices Curriculum Student Guides “Conservation Easement Stewardship” and “Caring for Land Trust Properties.”
Location: This one day training will be held at Holcomb Farm in West Granby, CT.
