Special Half-Day Workshop on Conservation Defense

The Land Trust Alliance Northeast Office is pleased to announce a special half-day workshop on Conservation Defense, led by Leslie Ratley-Beach, Director of Conservation Defense for the Land Trust Alliance.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday, November 18th from 11:00-4:00 p.m. The workshop is free but space is limited, pre-registration is required. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Lunch is included.
The workshop will include a highly interactive discussion on Conservation Defense and:
- Explore two case studies on conservation defense-related issues (e.g. easement enforcement, amendments, violations, and litigation)
- Discuss the conservation defense insurance feasibility report and solicit land trust feedback
- Highlight services and resources available through the Alliance’s national program on Conservation Defense

Introduce the soon-to-be released Standards and
Practices Course, Managing Conservation Easements in Perpetuity.
