Rally Book Club with the Author: Arctic Dreams by Barry Lopez

Wednesday, September 18, 1:30pm-3:00pm
Barry Lopez's National Book Award-winning classic is widely considered his masterpiece. Artic Dreams, which is based on 15 trips to the Far North, is a story of the wildlife, landscape, and people of this harsh but beautiful region. In it, Lopez argues that an imaginative and emotional approach to the Arctic is important, and he explains the significance of understanding this contrasting world of light, darkness and ice in a modern, urbanized world. Join Mr. Lopez and your colleagues in a facilitated discussion on this thought-provoking book. No fee, just purchase and read the book prior to Rally.
