How the Board Member Challenge Works

If you are a board member of a land trust, this Challenge is an opportunity for you and your fellow board members to join a national community of dedicated conservation leaders working together to strengthen land trusts and advance a shared vision for local land protection.

If you are a staff member of a land trust, this Challenge is an opportunity to get your board members more involved with the land trust community and take action on critical national issues that affect your local land protection work.

When 50% or more of your land trust's board members become individual members of the Land Trust Alliance with a gift of $35 or more, your land trust will be recognized and celebrated nationally for providing leadership for America's land conservation community.

Your land trust will be prominently recognized:

However and whenever we can, we will celebrate your land trust for taking action on the critical national issues affecting all of our conservation work.

Thank you for investing in the future success of the land trust movement by taking the Challenge today!

To get started, join the Alliance now or request a Board Challenge brochure, "Strength in Numbers: The Power of a National Land Conservation Community" by contacting Suzanne Erera, 202-638-4725 x 324 or email serera@lta.org.
