Land trusts cannot avoid risk and conserve land. Practice 6I of Land Trust Standards and Practices asks land trusts to assess and manage their risks. We will discuss key concepts in risk management as they apply to land trusts and the importance of risk management in advancing a land trust’s mission and protecting its vital assets.
