Kevin Case Appointed as Alliance’s Northeast Regional Director

We are pleased to announce that Kevin Case has been selected as our new Northeast Regional Director. Many may know Kevin, who has been with the Alliance since 2005, as the Conservation Manager for the Alliance’s programs in the Northeast. For the last 9 months though he has also served as acting director of the Northeast field office, and will now continue working with colleagues to help lead the development and implementation of the next generation of high impact services to land trusts and partners.

Since joining the Alliance, Kevin has earned the deep respect of land conservation colleagues. Throughout his career he has built strong partnerships that have led to significant “on-the-ground” conservation benefits. At the Alliance he designed the Connecticut Land Trust Excellence Program, and in Maine he has worked with our partner, the Maine Land Trust Network, to launch a similar initiative. Kevin has also played a leadership role in designing and implementing the strategic conservation curriculum. Prior to the Alliance Kevin served as executive director of the Farmington River Watershed Association (CT), and as a natural resource planner for the National Park Service where he led the study effort for wild and scenic river designation of the Eight Mile River in Connecticut.
