Connecticut Land Trust Challenge Fund
The Connecticut Land Trust Challenge Fund is a partnership between the Land Trust Alliance and the Connecticut Land Conservation Council (CLCC). The goal of the Challenge Fund is to build long-term strength and effectiveness of land conservation organizations in Connecticut and to advance land trust efforts to implement Land Trust Standards & Practices.
Eligible land trusts may apply for consultant-led services which may be applied toward a spectrum of capacity-building needs, including, but not limited to, strategic planning, enhancing stewardship practices, increasing fundraising skills, building new collaborations, improving volunteer management, or advancing community outreach.
Funding for the Connecticut Land Trust Challenge Fund is made possible by the generous support of the Northeast Utilities Foundation, The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, and the Jessie B. Cox Charitable Trust.

Request for Proposals - Third Round of the Connecticut Land Trust Challenge Fund - Proposals Due May 28th!
The Land Trust Alliance and the Connecticut Land Conservation Council are pleased to announce the Request for Proposals for the third round of the Connecticut Land Trust Challenge Fund. Land trusts that are members of the Land Trust Alliance and the Connecticut Land Conservation Council operating in the state of Connecticut and that meet all other eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply. Awards of up to $10,000 in consultant support are available to land trusts. Proposals are due May 28, 2010.
Note: To apply for a project under the “Organizational Assessment” project area, please complete the “Application for Guided Organizational Assessment Cost-Share Program,” in place of the general Challenge Fund application.
