Indiana Land Trust Advancement Program
New program in Indiana sponsored by the Land Trust Alliance through the generous financial support of the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust.
The Land Trust Alliance is pleased to announce a new, 3-year program in Indiana that will provide the state's land trusts with training, organizational growth services, and technical assistance to help them upgrade their practices, develop sustainable operational and financial structures, and prepare for accreditation review.
The goals for this three-year initiative are to:
-
Strengthen land trust capacity to accelerate the pace of land conservation and ensure its permanence
-
Strengthen the role of land trusts as regional leaders in conservation across Indiana
-
Prepare Indiana land trusts for accreditation review
-
Promote awareness of land trusts and private land conservation among elected officials, private land owners, and local communities
Please take a moment to read the program description, and complete the program application, both of which you may download by clicking on the links below.
In addition, the Alliance will identify critical needs by conducting a Needs Assessment Survey, and convening focus groups and interviews with land trusts in various regions of the State. We will use the information gained from the needs assessment to help structure services so that they are relevant and timely to the needs of the land trust community in Indiana.
By clicking on Needs Assessment Survey, you will access the online survey directly, where you can complete it electronically. The survey consists of 29 questions, and should take approximately thirty minutes to complete.
Please submit your completed application and needs assessment survey by November 5, 2008.
Thank you for participating in the Indiana Land Trust Advancement Program!
