Advancing Conservancy Excellence Program
New program in Michigan sponsored by the Land Trust Alliance and the Heart of the Lakes Center for Land Conservation Policy
The Land Trust Alliance and Heart of the Lakes Center for Land Conservation Policy are pleased to announce the Advancing Conservancy Excellence Program in Michigan. This comprehensive, 3-year program will help transform the State's land conservancies into a high-performing, sustainable, and cohesive conservation community by providing organizations with the training, knowledge, and capacity required to be well-positioned for accreditation and sustainable for future generations.
The ACE program will fund an array of organizational improvement services to Michigan land conservancies to help prepare them for accreditation and build their overall capacity to conserve and steward land. Although some elements of the program, such as technical training seminars and conservancy collaboration initiatives will be available to all Michigan conservancies, selected land conservancies will benefit from an intensive program of individualized coaching, training, and consultant services to help them accomplish their goals.
