GIS Tools for Strategic Conservation Planning is a technical course teaches participants how to apply geographic information system (GIS) tools, methods, and analysis to strategic conservation planning using a "green infrastructure" approach. Green infrastructure is a designed network of natural area that benefits nature and people by maintaining essential ecosystem services that protect communities from climate impacts and enables a healthy, more adaptable ecosystem.
