Volunteer Opportunities

The land conservation community is always looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers!

Your local land trust can use your help!  Land trusts around the country, big and small, always need the help of hardworking volunteers.  Become a tour guide on your favorite hiking trail.  Volunteer on a trail maintenance team.  Help clean up the stream you fished growing up.  Don’t feel like getting dirty?  You can also help maintain an email list, or use your artistic ability to create eye-catching flyers.

You can become as involved as you like or are able.  No effort is too small, and land trusts appreciate any time you can give.

And if you just don’t have the time to personally volunteer, you can still support your local land trust by donating supplies and other items.  Though they have a big conservation impact, some land trusts are small and have wish lists for basic office needs.  Become a Conservation Angel by donating a laptop, printer, or office furniture to a land trust.

Find a Land Trust near you and give them a call today to see how you can help in their efforts to save our most cherished land.
