House Passes Conservation Tax Incentive

The House voted today on a bipartisan vote of 277-130 to make the conservation tax incentive permanent! This is a huge step forward for land conservation and the land trust community.

You can help win votes for the conservation easement tax incentive and other charitable tax provisions by signing a new letter by Independent Sector (which represents charities in D.C.). The more organizations that sign on, the better our chances of getting these provisions through the House before Congress departs for the campaign trail.
