Congress Must Vote Now to Make the Conservation Easement Tax Incentive Permanent.

The federal tax incentive put in place in 2006 is responsible for conserving more than 2 million acres of America’s outdoor heritage. But the provision has expired, and if Congress fails to act, landowners may be forced to sell off treasured lands rather than keep them in the family.

You can help make it permanent. Ask your senators to urge their party’s leadership to include the charitable package in any year-end tax legislation.
